This year we have had a rarity of 3 supermoons in a row.  I have found with my CFS/ME, Fibromyalgia and other ailments that at these times... two days before and two days after I am totally wiped out and in bed most of the time drained.  How about any of you?  Does the Supermoons and Full moons affect you?  I work for Psychiatrists who verify that many patients have this problem.  We all know the moon affects us in various ways at various times.  So tell me .... what can be done to prepare for these beautiful moons.  Usually they are about 13 months apart and the next time there will be 3 supermoons in a row is 2024.  The next supermoon is 9th September and then the next is not until 14th November 2015.  Full moons also affect me but not like these supermoons.  Any suggestions, support, is it happening to you?

  • Well last nights beautifull full supermoon was the last supermoon of 2014 so hopefully those affected will start to feel a whole lot better.......

    • Thank you and yes I think it will.  I need a little break but am doing pretty well considering.

      • I have started using the energy ritual every few days and it has helped loads though can't win for losing I have a stomach bug and off from work with it.  So I don't think it is the moon's presence. LOL

But I will keep doing the Energy ritual regularly but sometimes I worry that it will loose effectiveness.  Even with my CFS/ME, Fibromyalgia it helps loads.  I just forget to use it but I hope that this supermoon is easier on a lot of us here.  Thanks for that and the drawing down the moon which I will try later on.

  • Oh my Goddess yes they do.  I get manic around and durintg just a full moon but these super moons are just killing me that way and wanting to sleep.  I thought I was the only one that it has been afectiing so hard.,

  • Hello Charlene, I too suffer from Fibromyalgia with CFS/ME so know only too well the feeling of being completely drained, I do find that the full moon period is a time when I feel more alert and positively charged and for that reason I quite often find myself doing to much and not pacing myself properly, do you think that might be the case with you also.

I have absolutely no doubt that the phases of the moon affect us all, and that includes animals too, in fact animals more so because they are far more in tune to subtle changes than we are.

Human knowledge and mythology throughout time have spoken of the moon's effect on the earth and the human body. The moon's gravitational pull dictates the action of the ocean's tides. A woman's menstrual cycle runs in parallel to the cycle of the moon, and some believe the moon affects the emotions as well, for example, the full moon stimulates different types of behaviour, If you have somebody who is normally quite empathic, they will become more so at the full moon or someone who has a violent streak may be more likely to become aggresive.

In addition, the moon can affect the water contained in the human body. The human body is 60% water. When the moon reaches its full phase and new phase, its gravitational pull combines with the sun for the greatest gravitational effect. This period of increased effect lasts about 24 hours.
