What is a Psychic Medium?
A Psychic Medium is a person who uses their psychic abilities such as Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience to channel deceased souls. Some mediums become aware of these gifts at a young age while others learn to become a medium later in life through regular psychic practices such as meditation and other spiritual exercises. Not everyone can learn to be a medium.
The gift of mediumship involves the psychic entering a meditative state, where the breathing and heart rate is slowed down and the body energy becomes similar to that of the spirit world. From this state the medium is able to connect and communicate with spirit beings, channelling messages back to the physical world. Mediums are often employed today to assist police on matters they cannot resolve such as unsolved murders and disappearances.
When people have lost a loved one it can bring great peace of mind to have a psychic medium sitting, where the psychic channels information from the spirit world to the person having the sitting as proof of their loved ones survival after death. The spirit will often give information that offers proof and assurance that it is really them. The spirit may also give guidance to the living person regarding their future.
This can be a life changing experience for the person having the sitting, allowing them to finally have the closure necessary to accept their loved-ones physical death and move on with their own life.
